It is my sad duty to inform all members past and present of the sad and untimely passing of Carole Lucas who sadly passed away 2 weeks ago.
Carole Ann Welsh , was Born in 1950 and grew up in the Easton Area and attended Lockleaze School, hence giving her a unique insight as to what lay in her life ahead.

The beloved wife of Dave Lucas and mother to Mark & Amanda, Carole was very much at the forefront in the late 80’s and early 90’s when Dave was intent on establishing a new junior rugby section, recruiting mainly from the Hanham area of Bristol . Many of these young lads became the bedrock of the club with success gained in the mid Nineties. Her enthusiasm on the early tours and support she gave Dave and all the young players knew no bounds, and was even known to twist a few ears on the young lads who were found to have stepped out of line.

Carole will be a much missed visitor to the club, and she leaves an obviously massive gap in her much loved families lives.

The Club extend their condolences and best wishes to Dave, Mark, Amanda and further family and friends at this extremely sad time.

The Funeral is Planned to be held at Westerleigh Crematorium on the 3rdJanuary 2025, with more detail to Follow
