THE National League Two South fixture between Old Redcliffians and Dings Crusaders has been postponed due to one of the Dings players coming into contact with a person testing positive for the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Dings player trained with the rest of the squad during the week, but was sent home from his place of work today (Friday) after his company confirmed one of his work colleges, who works in close proximity to the player in question, was infected.
The Dings players is not currently showing any symptoms of the illness, but brought it to the attention of the club who duly contacted the NCA and the RFU for further advice and guidance. The decision to postpone the game was taken by both the RFU and the NCA as precautionary measure.
