Loughborough students take a lesson in penalties.

Loughboroughs defence held firm for the first 10 minutes, but Dings second dominant scrum led to Jimmy Halliwell in through the middle for his first.

Loughboroughs Theo Mayell was dangerous, a theme that continued all match, his run and the maul that followed had Sam Westmacott over for Loughboroughs first.

Haemorrhaging penalties though, Dings took advantage.
The next had Joe Hawkesby in from a driving maul.
Mayell repeatedly saved certain scores as from another line-out, the pass away intercepted by him, running the 45 meters to the try line, closing the half 17-10

A racing start to the second half, Harry Hone breaks through gifting Halliwell his second, converted under pressure by Perry.

Loughboroughs renewed energy, using the ball, pressurising Dings, but a miss pass interception was punished with a huge Murdoch Lock 50-22. From the set piece, Perry floats a beautiful crossfield kick to Gabe Goss, taking the ball in the air over the line.

The visitors return, more errors, scrum domination from Dings and an ever-present Ed Sheldon scores for Dings.

Loughborough again with phase play, into a scrum against the head and a perfectly timed run from Sam Bryan, over for their third.
Now chasing a losing bonus and more intensity, but Dings hit back again with a driving maul from Tommy Gollop, and Birthday Boy Ollie Millner converts at the death to seal the bonus point win for the Crusaders.
